Module TPS - 3371

Analog, Digital, and Hardware
Electronics Training System

Technical Characteristics

The system is stand-alone, containing all the necessary electronics components needed for performing the required hands-on experiments.

The breadboard makes it possible for the students to construct and design circuits by plugging the components into the breadboard. There are three component kits: Analog electronics, digital electronics, and microcomputer interfacing.

The circuit board includes visible component circuits protected by sturdy transparent cover.

The system includes a built in power supply with +12V, +5V, and variable DC voltage.

The system includes CMOS/TTL logic probe and the SES Lab unit with a two-channel oscilloscope and a function generator, which communicates with a PC to control the function generator and oscilloscope display, including spectrum analysis.

The built in function generator can also be operated manually, controlled by the embedded micro-controller for sine/triangle, sweep/constant signals.

Technical Characteristics
The trainer is enclosed in a metal case with a wide experiment platform printed circuit board (22cm x 35 cm) that ensures easy handling and good visibility of the components.

The central part of the experiment board includes the system peripherals and two 70mm x 175 mm breadboards.

The protected components are clearly visible to the student and protected by sturdy transparent cover.

The system includes a built in power supply with +12V, +5V, and variable DC voltage outlets. An included low voltage external AC power adapter powers the system.

The system includes:
• Two 70 mm x 175 mm solderless breadboards
• Logic probe and continuity tester
• 2 7-SEG units with decoders
• 8 LEDs
• 8 switches
• 4 Pushbutton switches with debouncing
• 2 oscillators with variable frequency
• Audio amplifier
• Buzzer
• Relay
• Potentiometer
• Microprocessor BUS inlet and BUS outlet
• Can be used as expansion set for SES Microprocessor and Microcontroller trainers
• SES Lab unit with two-channel scope and function generator, which communicates with a PC for controlling the function generator and oscilloscope display, including spectrum analysis
• PC software (Optional)

Objectives

This trainer is designed for experiments in analog electronics, digital electronics, and microcomputer interfacing on a solderless breadboard. The system includes peripheral components to be combined with discrete components, which are plugged into the breadboard.

This trainer is ideal for student competence evaluation.
